Founded in Maine in 1998, Community Pharmacies is one of the fastest growing pharmacies in New England. The group is overseen by a management team comprised of pharmacists, many with over twenty years experience in the industry.

As our name suggests, we place a strong emphasis on the personal service and community commitment of a small pharmacy. Free Mailing, Deliveries, & More

All in-state prescriptions are mailed free of charge and many of our stores deliver within a reasonable distance. Our stores feature a complete line of health and beauty aids and an expanded line of first aid products, such as surgical padding and durable medical equipment.

Compounding

Customized prescription compounding is one of our specialties. Compounding allows us to add pleasant tasting flavors to your prescriptions and provide innovative dosage forms to meet individual needs.

Fifty years ago, pharmacists routinely compounded ingredients to fill prescriptions. Over the years, pharmaceutical companies have made it easy to purchase pre-dosed medications-and more difficult to deviate from these standards.

The Professional Compounding Center of America

We keep up to date with the latest compounding techniques through our affiliation with the Professional Compounding Center of America (PCCA). If necessary we can get most medications overnight through PCCA. And the PCCA help desk is another resource at our disposal, offering expert advice from on-staff chemists.
